So last week #MondaysWithMorghan was cancelled because I honestly didn’t feel like talking. It was just one of those days and I wasn’t about to write some fake ass caption for social media sake. Every last quarter of the year is the hardest for me due to the holidays and missing loved ones that are no longer with us, in particular my mom. What I can say is that working out has definitely been a mood stabilizer for me. It clears my mind and adjusts whatever attitude I have. It’s been keeping in shape, and I’m 2-3 LBS away from goal weight. Working out is how I typically start my day and everything else is secondary. It’s become like my morning coffee on most days and last Monday, I didn’t drink my coffee.
I say all this to say, that sometimes, it just be like that. Some days during the fall/winter season will be harder than others, do what you can for as long as you can. Try to hit the gym a couple of times of weak for you own physical and mental state as the days get longer, the weather gets colder and the sun doesn’t shine as bright. I promise it helps, plus summer will be back in no time and we all know that corny ass, cliche but very true saying, “Summer bodies are made in the winter”. Just do it ...
