Yea I know this concert was only two weeks ago, yes I know everybody is probably tired of seeing everybody’s OTRII photos, but going to that concert for ME means more than I was willing to admit. Actually, I think I’ve been in denial. At first I lowkey didn’t want to go because I don’t know any of the songs, I was trying to be fiscally responsible (#Insider) and blah, blah, blah. I couldn’t figure out why I REALLY making all these excuses about going to see #Beyonce but when #CrazyInLove and #SongCry came on, it dawned on me. My mom (R.I.P.) was OBSESSED with #TheCarters long before they were #TheCarters. She’s always love Beyoncé and Jay-Z was one of her favorite rappers as he is now one of mine.
Outside of the fact that #Beyonce is hands down the best in concert performer (let’s argue), I think I subconsciously love going to see her and them together because it makes me feel closer to my mom. She knew every word, every dance move and the way people are in awe of #QueenBee, people were the same way with my mom. For those that have come across her other or ever laid eyes on her from afar, y’all know what it was. I think as long as #Beyonce decides to perform, I'm going to have to pull up to her show for my mom. If only it was her singing hard and dancing wild next to me at a couple weeks ago What a treat that would have been, but my dawg was with me so everything was alright. Until next time,
