Cajun Shrimp Pasta Recipe!



 

Hey gang! Here’s a quick and easy recipe for you. Ready in about 30-45 minutes depending on how quickly you move. What you will find is that you’re making your own Alfredo sauce using the heavy cream, butter and Parmesan cheese except we just add it all to the noodle pot once they’re done boiling. No need to take all that extra time making the sauce in a separate pot. You literally can throw all the ingredients in one pot and have this shit crackin’! Let’s get straight to it!


INGREDIENTS:

1lb shrimp

1lb stir fry chicken

1 green bell pepper

1 red bell pepper

1 onion

3 cloves of garlic (minced)

1 pint heavy cream

1 cup Parmesan cheese

2 sticks of butter

Cajun seasonings

Black pepper

Onion + garlic powder


RECIPE:

1.) Boil a bag/box of Penne pasta 

2.) Wash, peel, & devein shrimp. Rinse chicken

3.) Season chicken & shrimp with Cajun seasoning blend

4.) Chop up an onion, 1 green & red bell pepper + fresh garlic (or minced if you’re lazy like me sometimes) 

5.) Heat a sauce pan and sauté veggies 

6.) Add chicken & cook for about 5 mins

7.) Add shrimp 

8.) Drain noodles and reserve about 1/2 cup of the pasta water

9.) Season noodles with Cajun seasonings, pepper, onion and garlic powder

10.) Add in 2 sticks of butter, 1 pint of heavy cream, 1 cup of Parmesan cheese and stir the shit up

11.) Add the sautés veggies + chicken + shrimp and MIX WELL

12.) Add a lil mo seasonings and BOOM, we’re done here
