Mashed Potatoes Recipe!

Hey everybody! I'm back as promised with the recipe to my restaurant style whipped garlic parmesan mashed potato recipe. It's super easy to make and a classic comfort side dish for dinner during this weather. My son prefers his mash to be extra whipped, meanwhile I prefer mine chunky. By now you guys should I more often than not lose kitchen battles with even year old on a daily, *rolls eyes*. Anyway, I won't bore you today with a long story, lets get straight to the recipe!

Ingredients:

3-4 yukon gold potatoes (skin on)

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup fresh parmesean cheese

1 stick of butter

1 TBS roasted minced garlic (or 1-2 fresh cloves minced)

1TBS garlic salt

1TBS onion powder

1 1/2 tsp black pepper

pinch of salt

Instructions:

1.) Thoroughly rinse potatoes

2.) Rough chop potatoes

3.) Boil them in water for about 15-20 mins or until they are tender

4.) Drain water

5.) Add ALL ingredients to the pot

6.) Use a potato masher to mash up the potatoes then whip them to desired consistency with a whisk

7.) Top with fresh chives

8.) Eat and serve immediately!

See, now that wasn't so bad was it? You can literally make these as a quick side dish for your family dinners in just 30 minutes. These pair well with any kind of meat and a veggie. This is also a household favorite during Sunday dinner. If you have any of these potatoes leftover, check out my Sheperd's pie recipe to see how you can turn this side dish into your main course. Until next time,

With Love & Food,
